Alejo Sison participates in Symposium on Moral Capital and Business Management in Nanjing

Alejo J. Sison, Professor of Business Ethics at the SchoolThe opening plenary session "Moral Capital and Leadership" at the congress Symposium on Moral Capital and Business Management in Nanjing, China, was given by Alejo J. Sison, professor of Business Ethics at the University of China.

In his presentation, Professor Sison presented the development of moral capital as a way to combat the scourge of corruption in the current complex context of China's transition to a market Economics with often inadequate legal institutions. In addition, professor sought to clarify questions that had arisen among Chinese scholars who have studied his publication: "The Moral Capital of Leaders" originally published in English in 2003 and translated into Chinese.

The symposium was co-organized by the China Association for Ethical Studies, Nanjing Normal University and Jiangsu King's Luck Distillery, a state-owned business and was held at the International Community House, Nanjing, China.

Alejo José G. Sison teaches business ethics at School in Economics. He was accredited Full Professor in 2015. He is publisher of publications such as Journal of Business Ethics. He researches topics where ethics, Economics and politics overlap, from the perspective of virtues and the common good. "Happiness and Virtue Ethics in Business." (Cambridge University Press, 2015) is one of his most recent works.
