Business leaders, political scientists, analysts and other experts reflected, together with students from the University of Navarra, on the so-called 'sleeping generation' in a three-day congress conference divided into eleven conferences on March 14, 15 and 16. The meeting, called "Wake Up: the world is changing" and sponsored by Zurich Seguros, was organized by the third year students of the Economics, Leadership and Governance program at School of Economics.

According to the organizers, this congress had as goal to wake up the young people of the so-called lost generation. "From the beginning the idea of this project was to 'wake up' us and those around us, to show that we are not the lost generation, but the sleeping generation, and that it is never too late to wake up", assures the student and manager communication of the event, Javier Moya.

"Following this idea - he continues - we decided to tackle issues that we believe are crucial in today's society, and that perhaps the general public does not address, or think about as much as they should". Under the framework of Economics, society, politics and motivation, 12 experts analyzed various topics that will dominate the social diary in the coming years, addressing an audience of young people who will form the next generation of leaders.

Aleix Valls, former director General of Mobile World Capital Barcelona; Juan Pedro Moreno, CEO of Accenture in Spain; Clemente Cebrián, co-founder of El Ganso; Pepe Apezarena, publisher of El Confidencial Digital; or Carlos Andreu, consultant and trainer of Executives, were some of the participants in this event with such a special university spirit.

This is the third edition of this quotation, which has to be organized by the third year student body of Degree of Economics attached to the Economics, Leadership and Governance program as part of the subject project Integrated. Last year's theme was failure as an opportunity for success.
