yearbook Filosófico, magazine of the department of Philosophy of the University of Navarra, studies in its last issue the complexity of modern consumption and its relationship with human identity. Throughout the publication, several relevant authors in the subject have analyzed different approaches to the link. "The consumer society is accused of boundless voracity. At the same time, and not without a certain irony, in times of crisis such as the current one, the necessity of consumption for the global economic system is manifested", stated Professor Alejandro Néstor García Martínez, publisher of this issue, during his presentation.

In addition, an interview with Colin Campbell(University of York) is published, together with one of his lectures. Professors Pablo García Ruiz(Universidad de Zaragoza), Luis E. Alonso and Carlos Fernández(Universidad Autónoma de Madrid), Diana Crane(University of Pennsylvania) and Carlos Soldevilla(Universidad Complutense de Madrid) also contribute with different articles. Also, the obituary of Professor Ralph McInerny -member of the committee Scientific advisor of the journal and director for many years of the Jacques Maritain Center of the University of Notre Dame-, written by John O'Callaghan, his successor in the position appears.
