A team composed of four students from the School Economics and Business Administration of the University of Navarra won second place in the International Business Ethics Competition (IBECC) held on April 11, 12 and 13 at Loyola-Marymount University in Los Angeles, USA.

María Pérez-Marcilla, María Alexandra Raffo, Huberto Sánchez-Tabernero and Juan Argenzio, all students at School, accompanied by Dean and professor of Business Ethics, Ignacio Ferrero, analyzed the case of project Savingfor Learning of the Fundación Inversión y Cooperación. A project that seeks to apply a model of socioeconomic inclusion through financing based on community savings. "It was an analysis of an economic, legal and ethical nature", stated student of the last year of the Leadership and Governance program at Degree of Economics, Juan Argenzio.

The IBECC is highly recognized and hosts some of the most prestigious universities in the world. One of the particularities of this Case Competition is that it requires students to carry out not only a strategic or financial analysis of a specific business status , but also a legal and ethical one. This allows students to apply much of the knowledge acquired during the degree program.

In addition to the competition, the students had the opportunity to get to know the city of Los Angeles. "It was a unique opportunity to get to know part of the American culture and visit iconic sites of the city. I have to say it was one of the highlights of the degree program", said Argenzio.
