Marcel Meyer, award for the best paper in BALAS 2019

The Latin American association awards the research of the professor of business ethics of the School of Economics.

The professor of Business Ethics of the School of EconomicsMarcel Meyer, was awarded the award for the best paper on research applied by the Business Association for Latin American Studies (BALAS) during the congress annual meeting of the association held last April in Lima, Peru.

According to the organization that submission the award, BALAS seeks to foster research and provide a forum for the exchange of ideas and discussion of Latin American issues that affect the business environment of both national and transnational companies.

Founded in 1989, BALAS is the first academic association focused exclusively on business and Economics in Latin America and the Caribbean. The winning paper is entitled "My Leader is Gritty - Me Too?" and is authored by Professor Meyer together with co-authors Luca Giustiniano, Arménio Rego, Miguel Cunha and Flávia Cavazzotte.
