14 students from nine countries participate in the International Summer University

Through this initiative they will get to know the language and Spanish culture and will deepen their knowledge in the disciplines of knowledge of their choice.

The International Summer University Program, which is being held for the first time at the University of Navarra, welcomes fourteen students from the United States, Australia, Japan, China, Canada, Mali, United Kingdom, Germany and Belgium to Pamplona from July 16 to August 10. The high school of language and Spanish Culture -ILCE- has organized an intensive course of 60 hours of Spanish for different levels. In addition, the International Summer University offers 20-hour academic programs for students interested in extending their knowledge in a specific area from the various Schools of the academic center.

In this way, the program will allow international university students to get to know the Spanish language and the culture of Navarre. Among the courses offered by the academic center are: "Taller de design en Madera" (School of Architecture); "Fundamentos de la research Biomédica" (School of Medicine, Sciences, Pharmacy and Nursing); "Nuevos Medios y Nueva Comunicación en un mundo globalizado" (School of Communication); and "Raíces culturales de la construcción de Europa" (School of Philosophy y Letras).
The courses are complemented by extracurricular activities and excursions designed to optimize the cultural development and fun of student, such as visits to the cities of Pamplona, Bilbao and San Sebastian, to the castles of Javier and Olite, to Leyre, to the Roman villa of Arellano or a weekend in Barcelona.
