Awards for the best records and projects of the University of Navarra School of Architecture

Blanca Leal from Burgos and Raúl Salón from Pamplona received the Extraordinary Architecture and Technical Architecture Awards.

The School of ArchitectureUniversity of Navarra today awarded the extraordinary prizes at the end of degree program, Luis Moya, ATECYR and Valdebebas Park Ideas Competition to the students with the best records and projects of the 2009-10 academic year. The event took place on the occasion of the festivity of patron saint of the School.

On this occasion, the extraordinary award at the end of degree program in Architecture was awarded to the architect Blanca Leal from Burgos; and building engineer Raúl Salón, from Pamplona, received the extraordinary award at the end of degree program in Technical Architecture.

On the other hand, Maria Esnaola, from San Sebastian, obtained the award Luis Moya Blanco 2009-2010 to the best project end of degree program, thanks to design of a high school oceanographic in Pasajes, Guipuzcoa.

ATECYR 2010-2011 Awards and Valdebebas Park Ideas Competition

For the fourth consecutive year, the School of Architecture of the University of Navarra also awarded the award ATECYR, given to the students of the subject design of Installations who have best employee the efficiency and energy savings in a project presented in this subject.

On this occasion, the award -englobado in the partnership agreement between the School of Architecture of the University of Navarra and the Agrupación de Navarra-La Rioja de la association Spanish Technical Association of Air Conditioning and Refrigeration- was for Paula Olaizola (Vitoria).

This year, diplomas were also awarded for the Valdebebas Park Ideas Competition 2010, an activity within the framework of the design Urban 1 course that students in the 3rd year of Architecture are taking. The group formed by Imanol Etayo, Jokin Lecumberri and Nerea González received the honorary accredited specialization award. The two finalist groups of the second phase were those formed by Raquel Vicente, Beatriz Vega and Laura Andrés; and by María Serena, Ainhoa Ibarreche and María Aspiunza.

The School's festive workshop was completed with a lecture on "Pamplona through its walls", given by Professor Enrique Maya, a lunch for teachers and students, and various contests and raffles.
