Four graduates from School of Medicine of the University of Navarra have obtained a place among the first 100 places in the examination for Internal Medical Resident called by the Ministry of Health. Specifically, Ainara Baines, a native of Zizur Mayor, obtained fifth place and Beatriz Astibia, from Pamplona, issue 25th. Next on the list is Rodrigo Ortega from Carcastille with 26th place. In addition, Clara Amiama from La Rioja obtained 97th place in the test , for which 15,475 candidates applied for 6,797 positions.

Baines confesses that to prepare for the spanish medical residency program it has been essential to get into a good study habit, a lot of work and, above all, a good attitude: "In the end it is a question of the illusion for what you want to do is what moves you. I like to study relativizing everything, working so that the result is good but also aware that you can have a bad day. That optimism takes mental pressure off you, and at the same time gives you more confidence both when studying and when taking the exam".

He assures that he will opt for Digestive Medicine, since he is also attracted by the research projection in this field area. However, he is still not sure where he will go to specialization program: "I would like to leave home and go outside Navarra. Madrid would be a good option, although I am also considering Bilbao, which is a little closer".
