Four students from School participated in the fifteenth edition of the Global Business Case Competition of the Michael G. Foster School of Business at the University of Washington, Seattle, USA.

María de los Ángeles García Fernández, Itziar Masifern, Francisco Aranda and Javier Fernández Hinojal, all third year students of the double degree Degree in Business Administration and Management and Law, competed with colleagues from twelve other universities from all over the world: Philippines, Canada, Egypt, Belgium, New Zealand, China, Singapore, Mexico, Spain and USA (Arizona and a local Seattle team of students from exchange).

The competition consisted of a 48-hour case focused on business Frog's Leap, a winery in Napa, California. The resolution required the use of knowledge from different areas: finance, marketing and strategy. The case competition allows students to apply the knowledge acquired at internship Degree , and also to improve their presentations to an international audience.

In addition to working on the case, the students had time to get to know Seattle and some of the companies based there, such as Port of Seattle and Amazon. An afternoon of authentic American bowling and a meeting with high school students - to whom they contributed ideas for analyzing a case of Boeing, business aerospace based in Seattle - completed the experience.
