The Entrepreneurs Club of the University of Navarra has launched a new initiative called Venture Booster for Young Entrepreneurs (VBYE). It is a training program that will combine mentoring and advice sessions with the goal to help students, alumni and researchers who have a business idea.

The program will combine a three-month intensive course of training given by entrepreneurs and professionals dedicated to the creation of companies, a panel of more than 25 mentors-entrepreneurs experts in different sectors of activity and a panel of investors composed of Venture Capital Companies, Business Angels and private investors. The course will end with the presentation of the business ideas to this panel of investors.

With this project, the Entrepreneurs Club of the University of Navarra, promoted by the Foundation business University of Navarra, the Confederation of Entrepreneurs of Navarra and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Navarra, wants to provide real and effective support to all entrepreneurs linked to the University of Navarra. The Club currently has more than 1,700 members.

In the words of the promoter of this project, Pablo Martín,"the mission statement of the VBYE is to ensure that no entrepreneur with a viable business idea is left without achieving his or her objectives due to lack of support".

The VBYE, which has a similar operation to that of business accelerators, will also offer participants advice to promote the business and the possibility of making it known among the alumni. The initiative is supported by Caja Rural de Navarra, the Navarre Service of employment, and numerous companies such as Arpa Abogados Consultores, Biko2, Happen Inn or core topic Mayor S.G.E.C.R.

The program will start at the end of September and selection process is already open for participants.
