300 young people participate in the "Pop Up Emprendedores" organized by Fundación Telefónica and the University of Chile.

This social entrepreneurship event kicks off the activity of the Entrepreneurs Club for this academic year.

On September 30 and October 1, the Amigos Building of the University of Navarra will host Fundación Telefónica's 'Pop Up Emprendedores'. 300 young university students will participate in this initiative, an opportunity to learn to think differently, awaken their creativity, and become agents of change through their own ideas, thus developing their entrepreneurial spirit.

The Pop Up Entrepreneurs, which are free of charge, include workshops on creativity, co-working, communication and management of projects, and culminate with an invitation to present ideas that can be converted into projects to solve real problems in their environment. In addition, participants receive information about the social entrepreneurship program of Think Big, Fundación Telefónica.

Tomás Gómez-Acebo, Vice President of Alumni of the University of Navarra; Roberto Mercero, director of Telefónica in Navarra; and Joan Cruz, director of Territorial Coordination of Fundación Telefónica participated in the press conference that inaugurated the event.

The goal of the 'Pop Up Emprendedores' is to share ideas and experiences of creative minds and receive training to improve the world. "Young entrepreneurs should always be thinking about changing the world", commented the director of Territorial Coordination of Fundación Telefónica.

For his part, Tomás Gómez-Acebo emphasized that "the University of Navarra is also committed to entrepreneurship as a way of supporting society".

The 'Entrepreneurs Pop Up Tour' has visited universities in Valladolid, Bilbao, Logroño, Valencia, Barcelona, Seville, Don Benito, Murcia and Santander.

Likewise, this social entrepreneurship event kicks off the activities of the Entrepreneurship Club of the University of Navarra for the 2015-16 academic year.
