The "Entrepreneurial Dimensions Profile" for the first time in Spain
The innovation consulting firm Happen Inn and the Entrepreneurs Club of the University of Navarra have implemented for the first time in Spain this tool to assess the traits, motivations and skills of entrepreneurs.
The test, carried out by 124 students from the University of Navarra, offers results of a total of 14 dimensions of the entrepreneurial mindset and a guide to interpret them and make an individual or group action plan. During the study, participants analyzed competencies such as: passion, execution, positive nonconformity, risk acceptance, action orientation and idea generation.
"Thanks to the Entrepreneurial Dimensions Profile (PDE), our students will have a detailed introspection of their own skills, but the most important resource of this assessment is its 'guide de development', which offers an in-depth analysis of the skills that are evaluated, and gives suggestions to improve the weakest attributes," says Pablo Martín, from the Entrepreneurship Club of the University of Navarra.
"In times when the economic crisis has hit Spanish companies so hard, the innovation offered by entrepreneurs and intrapreneurs will push the economic recovery and the creation of employment", says María Beunza, from Happen Inn. "In innovators is the future of our Economics and we have to give them the best tools so they can turn ideas into results".
The Entrepreneurial Dimensions Profile (EDP) is an innovative tool of assessment , developed by a group of psychologists and researchers from high school of development of Leadership (LDI) at Eckerd College. available in multiple formats, the EDP can help both professionals and leaders, as well as students, to assess the Degrees in which they are using an "entrepreneurial mindset".
