Conceptual artist Alicia Otaegui leads a practical workshop of the Dadaism and Conceptual Art Cycle at the University of Navarra.

The workshop will focus on the "creation of an installation" in groups of work after a theoretical session.

Conceptual artist Alicia Otaegui leads a practical workshop within the 'Dadaism and Conceptual Art Cycle' at the University of Navarra on Wednesday, March 30. The session, of three hours and aimed at the university public, will be developed from a theoretical class and then with the "creation of an installation" by attendees divided into groups of work, at 10.30 h. in the School of Architecture.

Alicia Otaegui became known ten years ago with her furniture made from recycled materials and her exhibitions include: Artefacto, Bolsos, radiografías de mujer, Regálame, Setenta por setenta, Clotidianeidad, 2 x1 a 100, De buen "umor". Since 2010, the art collection of the Parliament of Navarra has his giant violin, "Zapateado", which was part of the exhibition commemorating the centenary of the Navarrese violinist Pablo Sarasate. Together with the artist Silvia Jauregui, he also created "the multicolored curtain" over the bridge of the Oblatas in Pamplona, with which they recovered PET material and plastic bottles from the Pamplona Region. Also noteworthy among their projects are the set-ups for exhibitions, theatrical scenographies, video clips, commercials, movie sets or some project for commercial premises.
