The meeting of alumni of the University of Navarra counted with the participation of Jose Amoretti, Vice President of HR of BMW Group for Europe and Middle East.
About fifty alumni of the University of Navarra of the University of Navarra met last May 22 at Imperial College London to attend to the lecture on innovation strategy at BMW given by José Amoretti, Vice President of HR of BMW Group for Europe and the Middle East.
Using Brexit as an example, Amoretti spoke to the alumni about the difficulties of trying to innovate in a VUCA environment, an acronym used to describe the volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity of specific situations.
BMW's vice president of HR also explained to the attendees the importance of corporate social responsibility for companies today. The new generations are no longer looking to work just anywhere; young people want to work in companies with values, Amoretti said.
After the lecture, the alumni asked to share a drink and reminisce about their university years.
