The demand for training courses, private lessons, academies specializing in English, German, French and even Chinese has multiplied enormously. knowledge Learning a new language not only broadens a person's intellectual background, but also opens up a different culture, a different way of understanding everyday life.

This is what the Borders Down program offers us, an initiative of volunteer activities aimed at international students of the University of Navarra and coordinated by UAS-Tantaka. This initiative aims to bring the culture of a particular country to the children and adolescents of the schools of Navarra, always from the testimony of a student of the University in his native language . The volunteer activities consists of giving talks about life in other countries, the experience of getting to know new cultures, history, hobbies and gastronomy, among many other things.

There are many schools in Navarra that have requested this subject of talks, with the goal to establish a real vision of the international panorama and to offer a perspective on the importance of learning new languages, as well as to make children aware of the opportunities that it can offer in the future.

Borders Down mainly deals with French, English and German, and always covering in their talks the possibilities that traveling or working abroad can offer you. The students of the Navarre schools will be able to solve all their concerns or doubts by consulting with the people giving the talk, always considering that the information they offer is from people who are from that particular country and have first-hand knowledge of this subject of possibilities. In addition, the talks are being given during the school schedule . The internationals from the University are motivating these students to be aware of this professional reality.

This is an activity that especially promotes the importance of volunteer activities among young university students, and also that primary or secondary school students themselves are aware of this financial aid and know how to take advantage of it in the best possible way.
