Upcoming appointments with the Civic Parliament

The next conferences scheduled as part of the activities of the Civic Parliament already have their dates: November 20 and 25.

The first of the sessions, on November 20, at schedule from 12.00 to 13.00 and whose venue will be the Parliament of Navarra, will be attended by two professors from the University of Deusto: Aitziber Mugarra and Ángela García Pérez, who will speak on "Service-learning as a means for social innovation". Mugarra is the principal investigator of the team of research EDISPe (Economics, development e Innovación Social al Servicio de las Personas), recognized by the Basque Government (2013-2015) within the Basque University Space. For her part, García Pérez is a member of the Zerbikas Foundation Innova Team of the School of Education of the University of Deusto.

The November 25 session, which will be held at classroom 01 of Amigos Building, at schedule from 12.30 to 13.30, will feature as speaker Pedro Uruñuela, who will speak on "Service-Learning, Coexistence and Education Citizenship". Uruñuela is a founding member of association Convives and member of group Promotor del aprendizaje-servicio de Madrid.

Let us recall that this edition of the Civic Parliament was inaugurated on October 20 at the Parliament of Navarra, with a lecture by the dean of the School of Education and Psychology of the University of Navarra, Professor Concepción Naval, and Professor Elena Arbués, who spoke about Service-Learning and innovation at the University.  

The activities of the Civic Parliament always make reference letter the social and civic dimension of the Education, and have focused on four major issues: communication, sociability and citizenship, the innovation in education and the Education higher .
