II conference of Psychology Experience
On April 25, the second edition of the conference Psychology Experience was held, where the students of this Degree deepened aspects of their practices through oral communications, presentation of posters and attended a plenary session.
The vice-dean of practicum, Olga Lizasoáin, opened the conference and encouraged the students to enjoy and learn from the practicum. The students then made their oral presentations, in which they recounted their experiences in the practicum and presented cases in which they had done research. Then, in the hall of Amigos Building the students presented posters showing case studies.
At the same time, a series of workshops were held with the participation of university professors and different professionals in the field of Psychology and Human Resources. María Jesús Álava Reyesa psychologist, writer and lecturer, gave a workshop on professional preparation. The professors and researchers of the group Mind-brain Gonzalo Arrondo y Javier Bernáceroffered a session on the devaluation of rewards in decision making. On the other hand, Jesusa García, professor at School, psychologist and director of Jes&Younggave a seminar on coaching. There was also a workshop on how to talk about death with children, at position given by the teacher Belén Ochoa.
Afterwards, a series of awards were presented to the students at submit . The award for the best communication went toÁlvaro Domínguez Nagore, the winners of the award for the best poster in Educational Psychology were Andrea Adrover, Nuria Elorza, Sara García, Ainhoa Herrando and Laura Munárriz, the award for the best poster in health psychology went to Sara García and Ana Hernández and the best poster on the psychology of business and organizations was won by Carmen Arauzo.
The workshop was completed with the plenary session "Looking towards the professional future without fears" at position by José MuñizFull Professor of the University of Oviedo. Muñiz commented on the keys to professional success and staff, he assured that optimism and resilience are two weapons to overcome the future. " We should not be afraid of the future, most of the ghosts are set by us," he said. The Full Professor also emphasized the need for effort and promote academic performance.
