Fundación Arquitectura y Sociedad awarded by the architects' associations
The entity, created by the architect and professor of the School of Architecture, Patxi Mangado in 2008, has as goal the promotion and knowledge dissemination of architecture.
The plenary session of the Executive Council of the committee Superior de Colegios de Arquitectos de España (CSCAE) has awarded one of its medals to the Fundación Arquitectura y Sociedad(FAS), founded in 2008 by architect and professor at the University of Architecture and Society, Patxi Mangado.School of Architecture Patxi Mangado.
Fundación Arquitectura y Sociedad is a cultural and private non-profit organization with national and international public projection. With permanent offices in Pamplona and Madrid, it was created with the aim of promoting and disseminating architecture as an area inextricably linked to life in society. goal
The medal was also awarded to the Arquia Foundation (Caja de Arquitectos) and the Higher Technical Schools of Architecture of Barcelona and Madrid.
Next year FAS will organize its international congress , a biannual meeting that takes place in Baluarte and usually counts among its attendees several Pritzker prizes.
