The University's School of Modern Music, which was born last academic year with the intention of offering a solid musical training to students, professors and employees of the academic center, will begin its second year at the University in September with some new features:

  • It will incorporate individual drum, piano and saxophone lessons, and group combo lessons. Likewise, electric guitar, Spanish guitar, bass guitar and modern singing will continue to be taught.

  • issue The number of students per class has been reduced from four to three to ensure better personalized attention.

  • Individual classes will be given, if required by student , but unlike the one-hour classes at group , these will be 45 minutes long.

The School of Modern Music, directed by the singer-songwriter and former student of the University Carlos Lázaro, counts with academic staff of high level. Each teacher will teach the method that he/she considers best suits the qualities of student or group, being able to follow the Rock School method as it was already done with some subjects last year, but always for individual classes and under application of student.

The enrollment of registration will be made for the 20 sessions that will take place during the months of October, November, January, February, March and April. The price is 480€ for individual classes and 250€ for group classes (3 people).

The placement tests will be held during the first days of September and will be properly announced in the Calendar of Events of the website and in the portal de Cultural Activities Office. Those interested in pre-registering for the placement tests can contact contact with the Cultural Activities Office service at culturales@unav.es.
