Tomás Kenny (MDA'14) wins the 2nd award in the contest "Portal del Centenario de la Reforma. Campus virtual UNC" in Córdoba, Argentina.

Last Wednesday, March 15, 2017, at the headquarters of high school of Architects of Cordoba (Argentina), took place the Envelope Opening Ceremony of the National Competition of Ideas "Portal Campus Virtual UNC" in which the team that integrates the former student of Master's Degree in design Architectural (MDA), Tomás Kenny, won the 2nd award.

Tomás Kenny, architect at Keny Risso, belongs to the XIII MDA graduating class (2012-2014). During his time at the University of Navarra, he stated that "the experience of Master's Degree is a unique time of reflection in which theory and project courses, developed in a broad professional environment, generate an ideal environment for discussion and criticism to deepen the knowledge of our profession",

"The project does not propose the construction of a single volume but the Building of a group of buildings that give rise to the promoted Portal . These buildings are located around the ring road on the axis Blv. Chacabuco - Enrique Barros axis, whose top coincides with the Pabellón Argentino, a building of institutional character and high patrimonial value", describes the MDA blog.

The Jury praised the wide participation of professionals from the different provinces and highlighted the high quality of the proposals evaluated, which denote the willingness to participate and the value placed on public competitions, which continue to manifest themselves as an important tool for the collective construction of Argentine cities.

Master's Degree at design Architectural

The Master's Degree in design Architectural, is considered the No. 1 in Spain in Master's Degree of its category (ranking of the newspaper El Mundo, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016) and combines project courses with theoretical courses aimed at a small issue of students and taught by internationally renowned architects, constituting an experience only similar to that which would involve working in the study of some of the great masters of contemporary architecture.
