More than 2,000 people participated last Saturday in the World Environment Day, organized by the School of Sciences of the University of Navarra in partnership with the City Council of Pamplona and with the support of Caja Rural de Navarra.
The workshop consisted of taking a sample from the Science Museum to the streets of Pamplona. In total, the experts of the School of Sciences, and the students of the group of Environmental Volunteers, gave visibility to more than 50 pieces and attended to parents and children in three workshops of environmental drawing, bead making and microscope observation, which were very popular among children and adults.
The activity lasted from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and took place in Roncesvalles Street in the Navarrese capital, next to the monument of the Encierro.
