For the fourth consecutive year the University of Navarra joins next Saturday, June 7, World Environment Day with a exhibition of pieces from the Museum of Natural Sciences and environmental workshops. On this occasion, in addition to the City Council of Pamplona, the academic center has the partnership of the Commonwealth of the Pamplona Region.

The animals can be seen in tents that will be set up in Carlos III Street, next to the Monument to the Encierro, between 10 am and 2 pm and 4 pm and 6 pm. In addition, and to complement the exhibition, there will be workshops and environmental activities for families with various contents: drawing and cut-outs of animals and plants, observation with a magnifying glass, card games on electricity consumption, workshops on recycling used oil or experiments with water and sunlight as a non-polluting fuel. development The University's Environmental Volunteers group is in charge of these activities.

Also, at the same point of Carlos III and with the same schedule, the Commonwealth of the Pamplona region will install the'Inflatable recycling', in order that children have fun while raising awareness in the collection of the different fractions of waste. For this there will be a large mat and five inflatable containers (glass, paper, organic fraction, packaging and rest), which will play the game of cushions and silhouettes, combining fun and learning. The activity is aimed at children between 4 and 10 years old.

To conclude the workshop, attendees will be asked to reflect on the environment and how we can all lend a hand, and to capture it in a huge mural.
