The University of Navarra, through Tantakajoins the XIII Solidarity Study Olympiad organized by NGODs Coopera, Cooperación Internacional and ACTEC. Through this campaign, which will remain active until December 5, the aim is to raise awareness among young people in Spain, Latin America and Africa about the importance of access to Education in underdeveloped countries.

With the slogan "If you study, you cooperate", Tantaka has set up ballot boxes in the libraries of Humanities, Architecture, Theology and Sciences of Pamplona, as well as in the campus of San Sebastian. In these ballot boxes, students will fill in ballots with a record of the time they have spent studying. Subsequently, the sponsors of the organizing NGODs will convert each hour of study into one euro to finance the selected solidarity projects: one in Senegal and another in Ecuador.

The 2015 Senegal project aims to improve the nutrition of children at the Omar IbnKhatab school in Malicounda. To this end, they will set up a livestock farm to feed 150 children at high school.

On the other hand, Ecuador's project will benefit 1,600 people in the indigenous community of Cotacachi. The purpose is to improve the infrastructure, materials and pedagogical models of 10 local schools.

More than 2,000 students from different centers of the University of Navarra participated in the 2014 Olympiad, contributing 37,412 hours of study.
