Rodrigo Cortés, Spanish screenwriter and director , has come to fcom on the occasion of a colloquium with students. The filmmaker talked about his experience in directing his most successful film, Buried. The film, from 2010, was an unprecedented success, as it takes place entirely in a box and tells the story of Paul Conroy, a family man and civilian contractor in Iraq, who wakes up buried alive in an old wooden box.
In addition, Cortés encouraged students to fight for their ideas in a profession that he describes as "statistically improbable": "All those times that common sense tells you to first establish a comfortable position that will allow you to take a leap, in reality, you will feel further and further away from the possibility of taking it.
