The director of the School of Architecture of the University of Navarra, Miguel Ángel Alonso del Val, has appointed José Ángel Medina director of the UniversityMaster's Degree in Architecture, which will begin the 2018-19 academic year in Madrid. Likewise, Mayka García Hípola has been appointed deputy director of Master's Degree.

Professor Medina is an architect, with award Schindler Fin de degree program (2000), and PhD (2005) from the University. He has been linked to School of Architecture since 2000, and between 2012 and 2015, he was its director. He has taught and participated in courses and conferences at the Polytechnic of Monterrey, Mexico; the Pontifical Catholic University, Ecuador; and the School of Architecture of Columbia University, New York, among others. internship His research work and professor is complemented by his professional work in architecture, with which he has won several awards.

Mayka García Hípola studied the Master's Degree in Architectural Restoration (1999) and the doctorate with award Extraordinary (2008) at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, as well as the Master in Design Studies (2001) at Harvard with scholarship Fullbright. He has taught since 2001 at Harvard University, Boston Architectural Center and Milan University. He has lectured at institutions such as MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology). He has been a visiting scholar at Columbia, UCLA, Bartlett and Edinburgh. His work has been exhibited at Harvard's Carpenter Center and has been selected to participate in the Venice Architecture Biennale (2002).
