Each year, the University receives donations from more than 13,000 individuals that help to support projects such as scholarship programs at Degree and postgraduate program, biomedicalresearch and Humanities, as well as the Museum's artistic programming.

The people who help are, for the most part, alumni, members of the association de Amigos, patients of the Clinic and employees of the institution itself. The University also receives financial support from more than 250 companies, institutions and foundations. Of the donors, 33.6% are from Navarra; 61% come from the rest of Spain and the remaining 3.4% financial aid to the University from 54 different countries.

Thanks to the partnership of all of them, it has been possible to allocate 22.9 million euros to projects of both the University and the research center Applied Medicine (CIMA) during this academic year. Of this amount, 41% has been dedicated to research, 37% to scholarships for students of Degree and postgraduate program, 13.5% to the construction and activity of the Museum, and the remaining 8.5% to Schools, centers and structural expenses.

On the occasion of the end of the academic year, President, Alfonso Sánchez-Tabernero, addressed the people who have supported the University: "I would like to thank the trust and generosity of the more than 13,000 people who have donated to the projects we have underway. In a special way, I would like to highlight the financial aid made by the alumni and the contribution of the association of Friends. Their unconditional financial aid is a stimulus and a commitment for the daily work ".

Among the people who make an annual donation, it is worth highlighting the involvement of more than 850 employees of the University itself who help through Alumni-University of Navarra.

A not-for-profit institution, at the service of society

The University of Navarra is a non-profit institution and therefore does not distribute profits. In the years with economic surpluses, these are reinvested in the University's own activity that has generated them (teaching, research or attendance health). Every year, efforts to obtain new sources of financing are increased to support the projects that are already underway and those that will begin within the University's strategic plan.
