The University of Navarra and Caja Rural have renewed their partnership partnership agreement

The agreement promotes scholarships, the internship sports in a healthy manner and the volunteer activities

The University of Navarra has renewed the partnership agreement with Caja Rural de Navarra, through which the financial institution will support various initiatives. The agreement was signed by Alfonso Sánchez-Tabernero, President of the academic center, and Ignacio Terés Los Arcos, president of Caja Rural de Navarra.

Among the projects promoted are scholarships for university students who want to study Degrees in the bio-health and technical fields. In this regard, Sanchez-Tabernero stressed that "for the University is a joy to have Caja Rural to approach our goal that no one fails to study at the University of Navarra for lack of financial means". For his part, Ignacio Terés has declared that "we have to thank an institution like the University that promotes the mobility of its students and promotes the training linked to sport. With the renewal of agreement, we continue to make it easier for students to achieve their goals". These grants are part of the "Women's scientific, technological and social leadership" program promoted by Caja Rural, the Global by Caja Rural Scholarships and the University's Alumni Scholarships , aimed at students with excellent academic transcript but without the necessary resources to finance their programs of study of Degree.

The promotion of healthy sports is another of the objectives of agreement through the Sports, Food and Health program. Thanks to this initiative, a group of students and employees of the University will be able to benefit from a personalized medical follow-up that includes periodic controls and physical planning. In addition, Caja Rural wanted to reinforce the activity promoted by the University's Sports Service .

The two institutions also wanted to reinforce the internship of volunteer activities at campus through the implementation of Tantaka projects, the University's time bank.
