Graduation of the XVII Promotion of Master's Degree in design Architectural

The 14 students of the Master's Degree in Architectural design (MDA) of the University of Navarra received their graduation diplomas last Tuesday, December 19, in a ceremony presided over by the director of the University of Navarra, Miguel Ángel Alonso del Val. School of ArchitectureMiguel Ángel Alonso del Val.

The academic ceremony took place at classroom Magna of the School and started with the intervention of Matías Grimaldi Della Bianca, representative of the students, who addressed a few words of thanks to the teachers and classmates.

Afterwards, Luis Suárez Mansilla, director of the MDA, congratulated the graduates and thanked them for their confidence in the School to study the MDA. The students of Master's Degree have had the opportunity to get close to some of the figures core topic of the international architecture scene. After the official presentation of diplomas at submission , Miguel Ángel Alonso thanked those responsible for the program for their effort and dedication, and encouraged the recent graduates to strive for excellence in all projects entrusted to them, whether large or small.

Final project critiques

The students, from Peru, Argentina, Ecuador, Ukraine, Mexico, Costa Rica and Spain, had the final critiques of the project courses by Pedro Falcao, Esteve Bonell and Francisco Mangado on December 14 and 15. Ramón Sanabria and Jesús Leache also participated in the final critiques as guest architects. The students who worked under the direction of Pedro Falcao developed a project of a maritime campus at the Predouços dock in Lisbon. The group directed by Esteve Bonell worked on a housing complex in a block of Barcelona's "Ensanche"; finally, Francisco Mangado's students, on the other hand, developed a complex of auditoriums and areas of exhibition on the banks of the "Nemunas" (Niemen) river, overlooking the historic city of Kaunas, the second largest city in Lithuania.
