On November 22nd, five students from high school diploma from high school Altozano, in Alicante, received the award for the best design and construction in the III edition of the'Arquitectura Efímera' competition organized by the School of Architecture of the University of Navarra.

Under the tutelage of technical drawing professor Laura Esperidón, the group "Circular Dream', composed of María Álvaro, Eve Bennett, Isabel Llamas, Amor Nebor and María Torregrosa, made an architectural reflection on ephemeral spaces, designed for a specific circumstance, which serve and respond to specific human needs. The students of high school, went to the University of Navarra to build their structure, which will be on display at School of Architecture until the end of December.

The temporary nature of these constructions allows the designers of these spaces to dream and experiment more freely in the form of small architectural whims or in urban actions that alter the use of public space on a temporary basis.

The 4th edition of the ephemeral architecture competition will be presented in November. The competition, which is international in nature, is aimed at students between 15 and 18 years of age. The aim of goal is for students, accompanied by a teacher, to be able to capture through an ephemeral structure some of the knowledge they are learning during the course of their studies, thus contributing to deepen the knowledge acquired. high school diplomaThe project is aimed at students between 15 and 18 years of age.

The proposal of this group of young students, inspired by the warm climate of the city of Alicante, pursues the creation of shade to give comfort to outdoor activities. The space, designed for all audiences, also intends the withdrawal of technology to recover the real connection between people.
