94 new students from 19 countries start the Degree in management Applied at the University

"You are beginning today one of the most important stages of your life because you are becoming university students and at the University of Navarra you will find the perfect environment for it. Welcome to all of you to this unforgettable experience". With these words, Mila Laquidain, director of development of ISSA School of Applied Management welcomed the 94 students who are part of the class of 2024-2028 of the Degree in management Applied Management of the University of Navarra. The international students come from 19 countries, including the United Kingdom, Mexico, Japan, Croatia, Bolivia, among others.

During the workshop the students had the opportunity to meet the members of the board board of directors, the first year coordinators, their mentors, several faculty members and some upperclassmen who shared their experience with them. They participated in several sessions to learn about how the center works, as well as the project-based methodology.

Dorottaya, Raúl and Alba are some of the students who have joined the Degree in management Applied of the University of Navarra. They tell us in first person the reasons that led them to choose it:

Dorottya Geczi (Hungary)

I decided to opt for management Applied because it is a very practical Degree where we work with different companies from the beginning. I would like to try as many areas as possible to find out which one I am most passionate about, specialize and, at the end of the four years, start my own business. I am very excited to meet people from all over the world, who will be a pleasure to work with and count on.

I speak three languages: Hungarian, English and Spanish. This year I will learn French. I believe that the more languages I know, the more diverse my personality will be. That's why I also want to learn Italian and German. Ever since I was little, I have danced competitively. I have tried many different styles, but Latin dances are the ones that caught my attention the most.

Raúl López (León)

When I found out about the Degree in management Applied, the first thing that caught my attention was the wide range of branches of business that it offers and the opportunity to continue with the training linguistic . In ISSA School of Applied Management my future begins; a new stage, the university, in a new city and surrounded by people to meet. The possibility of not only training myself academically, but also humanly makes me very excited to start. The methodology through projects and internships that are carried out during the Degree is also a remarkable aspect. I would like to specialize in business related to the fashion world.

I speak Spanish, English and Italian. Studying languages gives you the opportunity to communicate. I like reading, sports and I dedicate my free time to volunteer activities.

Alba Moreno-Manzanaro (Valencia)

I decided to study management Applied because it seems to me a very complete Degree : it offers a training of companies together with the practical knowledge of several languages, communication and an international environment. This can only be studied at the University of Navarra. Studying at ISSA School of Applied Management will provide me with the necessary business knowledge to know how companies and human relations work.

I practice archery and I have participated several years in the Spanish Championship and in the Regional Championships of the Valencian Community. I intend to continue with this hobby, which has helped me to meet people, create friendships and travel. I really like to travel, to know different places and cultures.
