The Castle of Javier, the Roman villa of Arellano, the commemorative monuments of Pamplona or the palace of Olite are some of the places that the Chair of Heritage and Navarrese Art of the School of Philosophy and Letters of the University of Navarra proposes to visit these days, without leaving home.

Every Saturday, from the social networks of the School of Philosophy and Letters of the academic center, users will be able to access a virtual pathway selected for that week and learn about its history and characteristics.

"In other circumstances, and with the good spring weather, many people, families and groups would take advantage of the weekend to make an excursion to some corner of Navarre. As the mobility is still very limited, we wanted to bring our rich heritage to their homes and invite them to tour it virtually," says Ricardo Fernández Gracia, director of the Chair of Heritage and Art of Navarre.

The tours will be guided by specialists, "aware that the best way to value cultural assets is to know them in a multidisciplinary way, from their historical contextualization to their iconographic, aesthetic or use and function values," he adds.

Visiting plan:

Saturday 9. An example of masculine jewelry: cane grips by Pablo Sarasate.
Saturday 16th. The Roman villa of Arellano
Saturday 23rd. The commemorative monument in Pamplona
Saturday 30. The palace of Olite
Saturday 6th. Javier, a castle for a Saint
