149 students from the School Science program graduate
Last Saturday, May 25, 149 students from the University of Navarra celebrated their graduation at School .
The students -from thirteen different countries- enjoyed a workshop at campus with their families.
The day began with Holy Mass at chapel of Sciences Building and a floral offering to the Virgin of Amor Hermoso at Shrine of Our Lady of Fair Love of campus. The academic ceremony was then held in the auditorium of the Museum of the University of Navarra.
The course delegates were the first to take the floor and then gave the floor to Professor Rafael Miranda , godfather of the first promotion of Environmental Sciences, who gave the inaugural lecture. The event was also attended by professors Javier Novo, Ignacio Moriyón and Javier Peñas, representing the XXIV promotion of Biochemistry , the LIII promotion of Biology and the XXI promotion of Chemistry respectively. The academic act concluded with the words of Luis Montuenga, Dean of the School of Sciences.
