Virtual trip to six European capitals

The School of Architecture organizes a new series of online sessions to discover the evolution of London, Paris, Berlin, Vienna, Rome and Lisbon from home.

The School of Architecture has been left with the desire to continue traveling and, after the cycle 'History of Six Cities', proposes a new virtual tour for the next few days through six other European capitals: London, Paris, Berlin, Vienna, Rome and Lisbon

How has the urban evolution of these cities been, what is their history, what landscape characterizes them and what are the features of their geography and topography? 

Through maps, plans, documents and other images, Professor Luis Tena will take participants to the heart of these cities and help them discover them. 

Luis Tena is a professor at department of Projects, Theory and History and Urbanism. He currently teaches Urban Morphology, City and Landscape in the second course of Degree in programs of study of Architecture and is tutor of project end of degree program in the Master's Degree Habilitante taught by the School in Madrid.

These online sessions are based on the monographic classes on the history and urban elements of different cities that he has taught for years in his introductory courses at knowledge of the city.

registration and program

The course begins next April 13 and the registration is free of charge. A maximum of 150 people can sign up in the following form. form.

During class it will be necessary to mute the microphone and turn off the webcam. Participants will be able to ask questions via chat. It is important to connect ten minutes before the session so that the teacher can authorize access.

All sessions will be live via meet and will start at 6 p.m. (Spanish time): London (April 13), Paris (April 14), Berlin (April 15), Vienna (April 20), Rome (April 21) and Lisbon (April 22).
