The University signature a agreement internship with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs

The agreement has as goal the training of students in Diplomatic Missions and Consular Posts abroad.

The University of Navarra has signed an educational partnership agreement with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for students to carry out internships in Diplomatic Missions and Consular Offices abroad. The agreement will be managed by the Foundation business-University of Navarra (FEUN), which will be responsible for the pre-selection and monitoring of candidates.

The agreement aims to increase the practical knowledge and experience of students of Degree and postgraduate program of the University, through international stays that facilitate their incorporation into the labor market. The internships will be focused on advisory work and management in diplomatic representations.

To this end, the agreement establishes the creation of a internship program of partnership systematized in three calls: from February to March (for summer internships); from April to June (for internships from October to January); and from September to October (for internships from January to May).

Selection criteria


Candidates will be selected in two phases. The first will take place at the University itself, where one candidate will be selected for each position offered. The second will be carried out by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs itself, which will select, from among the candidates from the 14 Spanish universities that are part of agreement, three students for each internship opportunities (one titular from place and two alternates).

Regarding the selection criteria that the University will apply to those interested, Marie Anne Reynell, from FEUN, has stated that "they will cover the interest of the student in the field of International Office, language level, transcript academic and the suitability of their profile of programs of study to the position offered by the Ministry".
