The architects Mario Galiana, Fernando Royo and German Müller, alumni of the Master's Degree in design Arquitectónico de la School of Architecture of the University of Navarra, have won the competition result for an interpretation center and auditorium for the Paraná sub-fluvial tunnel (Entre Ríos, Argentina).

"We located two areas of intervention delimited by two architectural concepts that always refer to the edge. The Door and the Threshold. These two areas, require two twin performances, almost identical. We use the architectural tools that refer to repetition and chance, which define ambiguity in order to approach the constructive reality of this action through a system of prefabricated elements," they explain.

"The exercise is located in the limits of the property, accompanying the work of Mario Roberto Álvarez, to highlight the relationship between both shores. Thus we find in the guidelines created by him, an optimistic path to follow. We understand the formal will of the same and therefore, we continue to offer all the prominence to the existing buildings", they add.

The jury defined the project as a "proposal that solves the problem of the colossal scale of the site in relation to the building proportion of the program, with a valuable landscape and architectural approach, based on the recognition of the outstanding pre-existences of the site".
