The University of Navarra is the first Spanish private institution in the field of"Life Sciences & Medicine" according to the QS ranking. Likewise, the academic center is ranked fifth among all Spanish universities and 284th in the world in this same grade by area from knowledge.

The international ranking emphasizes that one of the "differentiating values" of the University of Navarra is the"quality of the teaching, understood as the continuous training of the professors focused on offering students the best Education". It emphasizes that 86.6% of its professors have the Degree of doctorate, and 13% of them have achieved this distinction in universities outside Spain.

QS also highlights the research work of the University of Navarra, which currently has 9 centers dedicated to applied research in different areas of knowledge: the Clínica Universidad de Navarra, the research center Applied Medical (CIMA), the research center in Applied Pharmacobiology, the research center in Modern and Contemporary History, the research center Técnica de Gipuzkoa (CEIT), the research center Biomedical and development, the Nutrition and Bioengineering, the Institute of Tropical Medicine and the Institute of Culture and Society (ICS). It also highlights the synergies it creates with its IESE business school, which has campus in Madrid, Barcelona, New York and Munich.
