Signed on the pedestal by Luis Salvador Carmona, this rococo sculpture is placed in a small temple that allows its entire contemplation. Its size is smaller than the natural one. It represents the Virgin standing on a base of silver clouds and heads of angels who steps on a crescent moon with one foot, with the other the snake that carries an apple in its mouth. She crosses her right arm resting her hand on her chest while extending her left arm, holding her cloak (blue with greenish underside) with her hand open in a dispensing manner. She wears a white tunic with silk imitating branches, which is fastened with a carmine sash around her waist. The underside of the tunic is also carmine, contrasting with the inner white doublet of which the collar and buttoned cuffs are visible. The whole treatment of the body has a very rococo glow. The head is tilted to one side leaving the hair, long and dark, loose, partially covered by a white veil and crowned by twelve stars. The uncluttered face is of great beauty, with arched eyebrows, glass eyes with low lids, correct nose, small mouth and other elements modeled with softness.
