During the opening ceremony, the University Secretary, Jesús María Ezponda, read out the report for the 2020/21 academic year. In his speech, he recalled some of the main data of the past year, such as the issue of students and professionals, the investment in research and the participation in solidarity, sports and cultural activities.
In the chapter on offer professor, Ezponda detailed the launching of the of the new Degree in management Aplicada/Applied Management and four master's degrees: in Digital Law, in Real Estate Strategy and Business, in Technological Innovation and in Artificial Intelligence.
As a final touch to his speech, the University Secretary remembered the professionals who passed away during the last academic year; among them, the third President of the University Mr. Francisco Ponz, "who passed away next to the first stone of the Central Building, from which he dedicated so many hours to promote this university with great success and passion", he explained.
