This financial report for the 2023/24 academic year sample the evolution of the accounts of the University and its associated research centers, Ceit and Cima.
The University of Navarra is a non-profit institution. In fiscal years with economic surpluses, these are reinvested in the University's own activity that generated themteaching, research or health care attendance ).
Revenues and expenses
In the 2023/24 academic year, activity revenues increased significantly, driven by growth in all areas. This increase was reflected in the academic and research centersin Pamplona, Madrid and San Sebastián (+15.2 million, +6.9%), as well as inthe Clínica (+21.5 million, +6.5%) and IESE (+5.9 million, +4.7%).

This growth was due to the increase in the issue of students, result from the consolidation of the renewed professor offer in recent years, which generated an increase of 7.7 % in income from activities. The improvement in research grants, which grew by 4.9 %, also contributed to this growth .

There was an increase of 21.5 million in income from activities, while public research calls for proposals experienced a slight decrease of 0.3 million.

The increase was driven by growth in revenues.
The increase in activity at the academic and research centers generated a result 11.1 million euros (6.8 million euros in operating result and 4.2 million euros in financial surplus), an increase of 4.1 million euros over the previous year.
For its part, the Clinic maintained a solid result of 19.3 million euros, distributed between 19 million euros of operating income and 0.3 million euros of financial surplus, with a decrease of 1 million euros with respect to the 2022/23 academic year.
As for IESE, the final surplus reached 0.8 million euros, the result of an operating deficit of 1.4 million euros offset by a financial surplus of 2.2 million euros.
*The data economic of the different centres includes all the transactions of academic year. However, when presenting the University's information on an aggregate basis, the transactions carried out between the different centres have been eliminated.
