Irene de Dios (BQM'21 | MIDI'22) comes from Rincón de Olivedo, a village in La Rioja. After four years of Biochemistry , she has stayed at the University to do the Master's Degree in research, development and Innovation of medicines of the School of Pharmacy and Nutrition. The other day we went to Science to get to know her a little better.

  1. At this time of the afternoon, are you more of a coffee or Coke drinker?
    I just had a very fresh Coca Cola.
     

  2. You have chosen Science Library as your favorite corner of the University. Why?
    I've been here for five years, it's like my second home already because of all the people I've met.
     

  3. Favorite book: How to make good things happen to you, by Marian Rojas; A movie: Shutter Island; A song: Lodo, by Xoel López.
     

  4. What person would you have a coffee with today? With Marian Rojas, and what is the first thing you would ask her? What inspires her when she writes.
     

  5. What do you like the most about this year at the University?
    That at Master's Degree I am getting to know different profiles within the Science branch.

6. A historical figure you would have liked to meet
Coco Chanel, for all she fought for in her time.
 

7. How would you like to change the world
I would love to do my bit through the pharmaceutical industry, to fight against possible future pandemics.


8. What would you take to a desert island
My best friend. So I don't get bored.


9. From these five years at the University, what has impacted you the most?
The human training that it has given me. It has given me a lot.
 

10. Where would you like to be in 10 years?
Working in a pharmaceutical industry. Here, in La Rioja, in Madrid... wherever.
 

11. Who do you nominate?
