Cancer Center Clínica Universidad de Navarra

It carries out an intense innovation activity in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cancer, supported by solid multidisciplinary teams that develop cutting-edge research , clinical trials and treatments based on the latest technology and evidence available. It integrates the training and training of health professionals and biomedical researchers.

BIOMA Center

A new space for the promotion of the training of students from different Schools, the research multidisciplinary and applied Biodiversity and Environment Institute and the scientificknowledge dissemination , through a pioneering program of activities and exhibition of the Science Museum collection.

Technology Centre Association CEIT

Its main task is to carry out industrial applied research and technological development projects, in collaboration with the Departments de research and development of companies in various sectors (railway, aeronautics, automotive, health, manufacturing, energy or environment).

CIMA: Centre for Applied Medical Research

Its research is based on a novel biological knowledge , which aims to find therapeutic solutions to patients' needs. For this reason, CIMA and the Clinic share a common project : putting the patient at the centre of research.

ICS: Institute for Culture and Society

It seeks to respond through rigorous academic research to some of the main challenges of today's world. With it, the University has succeeded in extending to Humanities and the Social Sciences a model of research excellence.

CIN: Centre for Nutrition Research

It is a basic-applied research body focused on issues related to per diem expenses, health, lifestyle and, especially, to the origin and mechanisms involved in obesity.

DATAI: Data Science and Artificial Intelligence Institute

It aims to bring together statistical analysis and data processing projects carried out at different Schools and services of the University. It was created with a clear vocation for training and research in big data.

BIOMA: Institute for Research on Biodiversity and Environment

Its purpose is to address questions core topic about nature and the future of the planet. Its objectives also include providing industry with the results of its studies, offering services and collaborating with public and private entities that contribute to a sustainable environment.

CEJE: The Josemaría Escriva Center for Studies

Its purpose is to promote the knowledge of the history of the founder, prelates and members of Opus Dei and apostolic initiatives.

IBC: Centre for Biomedical Engineering

Its mission is the search for and finding of solutions that improve the prevention, diagnosis, therapy and prognosis of diseases by generating knowledge applicable in this field.

The University of Navarra is an institution that since its origins has always been committed to research, both in scientific and humanistic areas.

The continuous commitment to research and the desire to improve at all levels has recently led it to join the European initiatives called the "European Charter for Research" researcher and the "Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers".

Following the recommendations of the European Commission, in mid-2016 the University created a working group group with professionalsfrom different areas and responsibilities within research. Its work in the first phase consisted of an internal analysis based on the principles established in both the European Charter and the Code of Conduct, drawing up a diagnosis and defining an action plan that will soon be published.

The University of Navarra has decided to join these initiatives by means of a letter of support, convinced that its human capital is its most important asset, and that success depends to a large extent on the professional and personal satisfaction of our researchers, professors and support staff.
