Enrique Baquero, professor of Zoology at the School of Sciences of the University of Navarra, participated in the discussion on urban pests of the TVE program"Para todos la 2", moderated by Juan Pardo, together with Luis Lezana, biologist and Adjunct Professor, and Jordi Tapias, director of Higiene Ambiental Consulting.
The discussion focused on the concept of pest, associated with potential health risks as well as economic losses, and on the factors that mark human coexistence with pests. The three experts discussed human activity as a factor triggering the ecological imbalance that causes pests.
