César Martín Gómez, professor at School of Architecture, participated as speaker in the International Conference"Building Environment and Interior Comfort in 20th-Century Architecture: understanding issues and developing conservation strategies", organized by the Laboratory of Techniques and Preservation of Modern Architecture (TSAM) of the École Polytechnique Fe?de?rale de Lausanne (Switzerland).
The meeting was attended by specialists from Austria, Switzerland, Spain, France, Great Britain, Italy and Portugal. The experts discussed the evolution of passive and active comfort mechanisms in 20th century architecture in order to outline the strategies needed to intervene and rehabilitate these mechanisms in the built heritage.
