The School of Pharmacy of the University of Navarra has presented the new features of the 4th edition of the competition Nutrivideo, a proposal of Education nutritional that aims to promote healthy lifestyle habits among young people through the development of informative videos on the subject.

Under the slogan "Eating well, it's easy to see", the contest is an activity promoted by the Chair for Nutrition Tomás Pascual Sanz-University of Navarra. In the three previous editions, more than 700 students between the ages of 13 and 18 from six countries have participated in the contest, producing 200 videos to promote health. Their work is disseminated through the Nutrivideo YouTube channel, which has already reached 110,000 reproductions.

Among the novelties of this edition are the sessions on nutrition and health that will be given by some professors and researchers from the University of Navarra in the participating centers and schools. The goal will be to provide young people with the training and the necessary tools so that they themselves can be the protagonists of their own learning in the field of food and health.

In addition, specialists from Degree of Human Nutrition and Dietetics will promote new workshops and special sessions for students to be held at the academic center.

400 students from the same high school involved in Nutrivideo
The competition, organized by nutrition experts from the University of Navarra, includes two categories: best video and most viewed. The pieces must not exceed four minutes in length and their script must be inspired by the promotion of healthy eating habits. To do so, students will be organized into teams of a maximum of four members and a tutor from the center.

Prizes in the respective categories will consist of an iPad for each member of group and a computer for the center, in the case of the best video, and an interactive whiteboard for high school, in the case of the most viewed video.

In the last edition, the award for the best video was awarded to high school I.E.S. Pablo Sarasate de Lodosa (Navarra), with the participation of the 400 students of the center and most of the teachers.

The initiative is supported by the Ministry of Health and Social Policy, the Government of Navarra and the Antena 3 Foundation.
