The Extraordinary Awards for the End of degree program of the School of Sciences have been chosen.

The academic center recognized the academic careers of Alejandra Uriz from Degree in Biology, Jon Lerga Jaso from Degree in Biochemistry and Pablo Monreal, from Chemistry

The School of Sciences of the University of Navarra has granted the Extraordinary Awards End of degree program. result On this occasion, the winners were Alejandra Uriz, for Degree in Biology; Jon Lerga for Degree in Biochemistry ; and Pablo Monreal for Chemistry.

The latter is currently at the Volkswagen plant in Tennessee, specifically at laboratory quality. "When I finished the degree program I wanted to do something different and finally I decided to go to another country to get to know other points of view and languages". Pablo Monreal highlighted the great possibility of doing external internships during his time at School of Sciences. As he pointed out, "I was able to do 6 months of additional internships before graduating thanks to the offer of the School at the department of Chemistry and Edaphology of the University, the department of Nuclear Medicine of the Clínica Universidad de Navarra and other institutions. In the future he hopes to pursue a doctorate and pursue a career at research.

Jon Lerga is currently doing a Master's Degree in Bioinformatics at the Autonomous University of Barcelona and at the same time he has enrolled in the Degree in Mathematics at the UNED. Among his plans, he is also planning to do a doctoral thesis on variations in the human genome, although "I do not rule out leaving Spain". About his time at the University of Navarra he stressed "the importance of having met a discipline that I have loved and having had the good fortune to meet such wonderful people," he added.
