8,000 students from Degree have started classes at the University.

This 2018-2019 academic year, there are more than 2,000 new first-year students, 25% of whom are of international origin.

Some 8,000 students from Degree have begun classes at the University of Navarra. Of these, more than 2,000 are first-time students at campus, to study one of the 38 Degrees, 12 Degrees double or 12 bilingual courses offered by the academic center this academic year 2018-2019.

Of these more than 2,000 new students, 559 are international students, or 25%. This is a significant increase over the previous year, when they accounted for 20%. The students come from 85 countries, including Ecuador, Venezuela, the United States and Mexico. There are also students from countries such as Kenya, Syria, Lebanon, Congo, Ukraine, Qatar, Kazakhstan and Jordan, for example.

On the occasion of the first day of class, all these new students have participated in conference welcome organized by each School with the goal to get to know their center, as well as the rest of campus.

Academic News

All data are provisional, as the enrollment process is still open. However, the University of Navarra expects to reach 13,000 students. Last year, there were 11,562 students in official degrees (Degree, doctorate and Master's Degree) and 1,176 students in proprietary degrees.

This year the academic center is offering two new Degrees: the double Degree of International Office and History and the Degree of Philosophy, Politics and Economics. Moreover, a Diploma of Archaeology has been launched within the Degree of History, and a pathway called Science and Business Program in the Degrees of the School of Sciences (Biology, Chemistry and Biochemistry ). 

Likewise, other programs of study will be reviewed and two objectives will be pursued: to increase the number of bilingual subjects issue and the incorporation of new teaching methodologies such as Service-Learning or Integrated Learning.
