The CIMA holds a symposium on gene therapy for liver diseases.

The research center Applied Medicine of the University of Navarra will host on October 9 an international symposium on gene therapy for liver diseases graduate "Liver directed gene therapy for rare diseases". The congress has been organized by Dr. Gloria González and Dr. Jesús Prieto. Experts from universities and institutions in the United States, Germany, France, Spain, the Netherlands and Austria, such as uniQure, Hannover Medical Centre, Abeona Therapeutics, Hospital San Joan de Deu and the Hemophilia Comprehensive Care Centre, among others, will participate in the event.
Some of the topics to be discussed will be "development of AAV Vectors for clinical success","Hemophilia and the challenge of gene therapy" or"Gene therapy for the treatment of Sanfilippo Syndrome subject B".
