Nearly 50 professionals from 25 dioceses at a workshop on team management in Church entities.
Among other speakers were the secretary of the Pontifical committee for Legislative Texts and the director for Procurement of the lecture Episcopal Office.
Fifty professionals attended a conference at the workshop at the University of Navarra on the management of teams in Church organizations.. Among those attending are professionals from 25 Spanish dioceses. The activity is organized by the group of research on the Sustainability of the Catholic Church (GISIC) and takes place on Tuesday, the 4th, and Wednesday, the 5th.
The first session dealt with the 'Fundamentals of the Personnel Management Service in the Church' and was moderated by Ignacio Ferrero, Deputy Director of the Master's Degree at Personnel Management Service in Organizations.
The following experts from the academic center took part: Miguel Ángel Ariño, professor at IESE; Jorge Miras, professor of Administrative Law Canonical; José Ramón Villar, professor of Dogmatic Theology; and Ignacio Cristóbal, director of Human Resources at the Clínica. Among other topics, they will discuss work as a team and the participation of the faithful in decision-making.
Professor Javier Otaduy moderates the second session, which is degree scroll 'Competences for Personnel Management Service'. The speakers are the coach and consultant Carlos Andreu, who speaks on 'Knowing yourself to lead people'; the Full Professor of Economics Applied Miguel Alfonso Martínez de Echevarría, with the discussion paper 'The work well done, core topic of the Personnel Management Service'; and Cristian Mendoza, professor of Institutional Communication at the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross (Rome), which focuses on 'The Internal Communications and transparency of the Truth'.

The third and final session, 'New scenarios of the Personnel Management Service', was moderated by Prof. Maria Blanco. Juan Ignacio Arrieta, secretary of the Pontifical Council for Legislative Texts committee , will speak on 'Patrimonial government and communion'. On his part, David Martín, director of Purchasing of the Spanish Episcopal lecture , will give a talk at discussion paper on 'management of change and motivation of people'.
This will be followed by a roundtable on 'The patrimonial government and authority in the Church', with Antonio Fernández, vicar general of the Diocese of Cuenca; Gaspar Martínez, University Secretary of the Diocese of Bilbao; and José Javier Romera, vicar general and moderator of the Curia of the Diocese of Getafe.
