Four students from the School Pharmacy, winners of "What worries me about my profession?" 2015.
The contest is organized by association Spanish Social Pharmacy (AEFAS), Correo Farmacéutico and the University of Navarra.

result Gonzalo Jaras, Patricia Durán, Lidia Alén and Lucía Alonso have won the II Contest 'What worries me about my profession?' organized by the association Spanish Social Pharmacy (AEFAS), Correo Farmacéutico (specialized newspaper of the sector) and the area of Humanities Pharmaceutical School Pharmacy of the University of Navarra.
"Young, intrepid, studious, adventurous, responsible, shrewd, disciplined... These are some of the adjectives that define Pharmacy students." This is the beginning of Jaras' work , graduate "This is how I see us"which won the first prize award. Durán has won silver, with his proposal "Soy Patricia y soy (futura) farmacéutica", and Alén has won bronze with"La renovación y el cambio nos mantiene"."Futuro incierto" is Alonso's work which has received an honorary accredited specialization .
The jury was composed of Conchita Tros, board member of teaching of AEFAS; Francisco Fernández, director of Correo Farmacéutico; Enrique Soler Company, director of OFIL Magazine; and from the University of NavarraJosé López Guzmán, professor of Humanities Pharmaceutics and Guadalupe Beitia, from classroom of Practical Pharmacy. The winners of the previous edition also deliberated: Alfredo Andreu, Fares Ibrahim and María Chávarri.
The awards were presented on June 1 in Madrid, at the headquarters of AEFAS. Beforehand, the participants learned how Correo Farmacéutico works. The workshop ended with a visit to the Royal Academy of Pharmacy.

To ensure the patient's healthGonzalo Jaras, student of the Double Degree in Pharmacy and Human Nutrition and Dietetics, defends in his work that "the tasks of the community pharmacist are many and varied. All of them are aimed at ensuring the patient's health". With this goal the work is an autobiography of his academic life and what he expects from his professional life and the group he will be part of.
"Winning the first award of the contest makes me feel great pride for the text that little by little I was forging with ideas that were going around in my head (and still are) in relation to the main topic ," says Jaras. In addition, "I am happy with the evaluation obtained because I can see that what worries me is also what worries the various members of the jury".
According to this student, he was encouraged to participate in the contest "to be able to share with my fellow students, from my university and other universities in Spain, as well as with the pharmacists who read the article, the concerns that may arise for a student when comparing what they learn at School with what they see in the Pharmacy Offices of our country".
