"48horas UNAVXDANA": The University organizes a collection of food and basic materials for those affected by the DANA.
Containers have been placed at two points of campus, among other solidarity initiatives.

The University of Navarra has organized a collection of food and basic materials for those affected by the hurricane in the Valencian Community. Under the slogan "48horas UNAVXDANA", several solidarity containers have been placed in the esplanades of the School of Communication and Hexagon Building, in the science area, which will be installed until next Wednesday, November 4, at 13 hours.
The collection, organized by Tantaka, the academic center's solidarity time bank, is receiving prepared food with a long expiration date (baby food, powdered milk, sliced bread, nuts, cereals, canned food and milk) and hygiene products (diapers, wipes, FPP2 masks, sanitary napkins and gardening or resistant gloves).
Likewise, the University of Navarra has joined the collection of funds set up by Caritas and the Food Bank, whose money will also be used to alleviate the needs of those affected. Also in its campus in Madrid, from today until the 7th, there will be a solidarity collection of food and has enabled an account issue and a bizum to make donations.
On the other hand, in all the masses that will be celebrated this week in the campus will be prayed especially for those affected by the DANA. In addition, next Wednesday, November 6, at 8 p.m., at the Shrine of Our Lady of Fair Love of the campus, a rosary has been organized for the Valencians, the victims, the victims and their families.
Since last Tuesday when the DANA hit the Valencian Community, the University has tried to accompany, support and send the necessary financial aid . In total, 103 employees (from academic centers and from research and the Clinic), 328 students (from Degree and postgraduate program) and 1,823 alumni are from the Valencian Community. In addition, 202 University donors reside in Valencia.
